HEBCO is a recognized leader in identifying and implementing the most efficient electronic graphic formats for any purpose. Whether it's photographic images, line art conversions, CGM with interactive hyperlinking and "hot-spotting", SVG manipulation, solid models, precise engineering drawings, or interactive 3D illustrations, HEBCO has the expertise you need. Our technical illustrations have been published worldwide in Electronic Technical Orders (eTOs), Standard General Markup Language (SGML) publications, eXtensible Markup Language (XML), Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), and various other formats to support numerous mission critical systems.
HEBCO works directly with our customers to develop road maps to solutions through proper cost-effective application of innovative processes and state-of-the-art technologies like 3-D graphics, interactive drawings, and web-based graphic databases which allow viewing, printing, and distribution of data on demand. These road maps are designed to meet our customer's vision by providing up-to-date, technically accurate, and affordable technical illustrations.
HEBCO provides a single source for complete engineering and technical illustration design, development, and support. Graphic support activities include development of new graphics and engineering drawings, processing illustration revisions, incorporating revised illustrations into publications, coordinating printing services, and distributing worldwide. We regularly work with various electronic formats, including raster graphics with various compression formats; vector graphics including EPS/EPSI, CGM and SVG formats; and AutoCAD, Solid Works or other computer-aided drafting formats. HEBCO has also converted AutoCAD files to CGM Level 4 using the ATA and WebCGM profiles in the support of 3D and interactive graphics. In addition, our technical illustrators support interactive wiring diagram functionality which significantly enhances usability for operations and maintenance support.
Since July 1983, HEBCO's illustrators have created more than 875,000 engineering and technical illustrations for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DoE). During this time we have supported more than 50 different weapon systems by editing, updating, publishing and distributing virtually every type of illustration available to the military.
